Sorry been out of town lol. Im not that hi lvl as yet but that game is pretty pathetic. Graphics and gameplay are slow and outdated (potentially worse than WoW), lore is a little better but who really cares about that in an mmo for more than the first week? The feat trees are also very strange looking. Havent actually gotten to them yet (still low  ) but they appear to be a few talents in a straight line. No real customisation other than which of the three trees you want. Lots of cool leveling gimmicks, like pets growing from cubs and that sort of thing, but at 40 (max level) which is where most of the game should be all those types of things dont mean a damn thing. Its also looking as unfinished as AoC so no bonus points there. Most of the capital cities have been confirmed to NOT be in at release. Unless a miracle happens AoC in its current pos form is better than WAR. EDIT - Oh and its probably a bigger issue for me than most people but there's no idividuality. Speccing is extremely linear (as I mentioned) and its back to wows pick a face system. Theyre also using a lot of class only loot so everyone will be clones, more so even than wow. EDIT 2 - Oh there is a somewhat cool guild leveling system. Where as you go up you get more cool stuff like standard bearers, stat bonus, and the like. And while it sounds cool AoC cities are just as good. Actually that seems to be WAR in a nutshell really. Cool ideas but no gameplay with a good PR spin. |

Lets hope the KotoR MMO (which has now been confirmed by EA) comes out sooner than later.

Oh forgot to mention the UI editing system in WAR is kick ass. Thats its best feature by far. Its like the moveanything mod from wow but better because its built into the game by default.

Bioware hasn't even acknowledged it yet. EA only confirmed it... it still has yet to be announced... but it is certainly a step in the right direction. |
